#BundtBakers: Maple Walnut Bundt Cake [Bizcocho de Sirope de Arce]

Hoy, para el último reto #BundtBakers del año, teníamos que preparar una receta de Bundt navideño así que yo elegí una del libro The Great Holiday Baking Book, ya que todas las que tiene son ideales para esta fecha. El sabor del bizcocho es muy intenso a sirope de arce, así que si no os gusta mucho este sabor también podéis sustituirlo por miel, ya que la textura es parecida y el sabor será a ese ingrediente principalmente.

En este caso he utilizado el archiconocido molde Crown de Nordic Ware que podéis encontrar por ejemplo en Claudia&Julia. ¿Os llama la atención la receta? Pues venga, ¡que os cuento! 😉

INGREDIENTES:

  • 2 Huevos L
  • 50gr Azúcar
  • 120ml Sirope de Arce
  • 120gr Aceite de Oliva Suave
  • 1’5 Cucharadita Vainilla
  • 300gr Harina
  • 2 Cucharaditas Bicarbonato
  • 2 Cucharaditas Levadura
  • 1/2 Cucharadita Canela
  • 1/4 Cucharadita Sal
  • 120ml Leche
  • 100gr Nueces Troceadas

ELABORACIÓN:

  • Antes de empezar con la elaboración tamizamos la harina junto con la levadura, el bicarbonato, la sal y la canela y reservamos.
  • En un bol, batimos bien los huevos y el azúcar hasta que espumen.
  • A continuación, batiendo a velocidad mínima, vamos añadiendo el sirope de arce en hilo hasta que se integre y repetimos la operación con el aceite de oliva suave y la vainilla.
  • Luego incorporamos la mitad de la mezcla de harina, la leche y la mitad restante de la mezcla de harina.
  • Una vez que tengamos una masa homogénea añadimos las nueces con movimientos envolventes.
  • Ponemos en el bol previamente engrasado y llevamos al horno precalentado a 180ºC con calor arriba y abajo durante unos 40 minutos o hasta que al pinchar con un palillo este salga limpio.
  • Sacamos del horno una vez hecho y dejamos templar el molde en una rejilla unos 15 minutos, finalmente desmoldamos y esperamos que el bizcocho se enfríe completamente sobre la rejilla.

MAPLE WALNUT BUNDTCAKE

You can see all our of lovely Bundts by following our Pinterest board. This month the theme was “Christmas Bundt Cake” and I chose a bundt with maple walnut and nuts.

We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient. This month was Sneha’s turn from Sneha’s Recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Larg Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Soft Olive Oil
  • 1’5 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 Cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Walnuts

METHOD:

  • Preheat oven to 355 F.
  • Spray the bundt pan (I used Crown from Nordic Ware).
  • Sift the flour, the baking powder, the baking soda, the cinnamon and the salt.
  • Mix the eggs with the sugar in other bowl until spongy and add the maple syrup, after the oil and the vanilla.
  • Incorporate 1/2 flour mix, the milk and repeat the process until ending with the flour mix.
  • Add the walnuts softly.
  • Empty the mixture into the bun and smooth the surface.
  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool down for 15 minutes on wire rack. Then, invert onto rack and cool completely.

  1. Cristina que pintaza ese bundt!! Se ve super esponjoso, yo la verdad que nunca he probado el sirope de arce y quizá tenga que animarme porque pinta bien!! Muchos besos y feliz navidad!!

    1. ¡Muchas gracias Lidia! Yo lo he usado ya en varias recetas, tiene un sabor característico, si lo pruebas ya me cuentas qué te parece! 😉
