#BuntdBakers: Brandy & Chocolate Bundt Cake [Bizcocho de Chocolate y Brandy]

La receta de hoy, como cada tercer jueves del mes, no podía ser otra que la de BundtBakers! Para este reto desde el blog All that Left are the Crumbs nos animaban a preparar el pastel favorito de papá, así que estoy deseando ver las propuestas que nos traen las compañeras porque sobre gustos no hay nada escritos y los nombres de las recetas tienen una pinta increíble. ¡Podéis verlas todas al final del post!

Como a mi padre le encanta el chocolate tuve claro que quería hacer un bundt de ese sabor, pero complementándolo con un toque especial y, tras pensarlo, elegir darle ese punto diferente con un poco de un licor típico de mi zona, un Brandy de Jerez. Para decorarlo le he puesto un poco de buttercream de Nutella pero podéis ponerle lo que más os guste como una ganache de trufa o dejarlo para disfrutarlo solo.

INGREDIENTES:

  • 2 Huevos L
  • 150gr Azúcar
  • 165gr Aceite Girasol
  • 1 Cucharadita Extracto Vainilla
  • 175gr Harina
  • 2/3 Cucharadita Bicarbonato
  • 1/4 Cucharadita Sal
  • 165ml Buttermilk
  • 100ml Agua
  • 40gr Cacao en Polvo sin Azúcar
  • 2 Cucharadas Brandy (u otro licor)

ELABORACIÓN:

  • Precalentamos el horno a 175ºC con calor arriba y abajo.
  • En un vaso en el microondas o un cazo en el fuego calentamos el agua hasta que esté muy muy caliente o incluso hasta que hierva y cuando esté disolvemos en ella el cacao y la reservamos.
  • Si no tenemos el buttermilk lo preparamos poniendo en un recipiente 155ml de leche y 10ml de zumo de limón, lo mezclamos bien y lo dejamos reposar.
  • En un bol, tamizamos la harina, el bicarbonato y la sal.
  • En otro bol diferente batimos los huevos y el azúcar hasta que doblen el volumen y a continuación le incorporamos el aceite y la vainilla y mezclamos todo hasta que se integre.
  • A esta le añadimos un tercio de la mezcla de harina e incorporamos, luego la mitad del buttermilk y repetimos el proceso hasta que terminemos con la última parte de harina.
  • Cogemos el cacao que disolvimos al princpio, le añadimos el brandy y lo mezclamos con el resto de nuestra masa de forma envolvente en 4 ó 5 movimientos.
  • Lo vertemos en nuestro molde engrasado y lo llevamos al horno durante unos 30 minutos o hasta que al pincharlo con un palillo este salga limpio.
  • Cuando esté listo lo sacamos y lo dejamos templar unos 15 minutos en una rejilla, luego lo desmoldamos sobre la rejilla y dejamos que se enfríe por completo.

BRANDY & CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE

My phather love chocolate so I choose to mix it with the brandy.

We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient. This month was All That’s Left Are The Crumbs.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup 2 Tablespoon Sunflower Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 2/3 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2/3 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder (sugar free)
  • 2 Tablespoon Brandy

METHOD:

  • Preheat oven to 347 F.
  • Spray the bundt pan.
  • Put water in a glass in the microwave and warm it until boiling point, then add the cocoa and dissolve it.
  • Mix the flour, the baking soda and the salt in a bowl.
  • Whip up the eggs with the sugar in a different bowl until it doubles in volume. Then add the oil and the vanilla extract and mix to integrate.
  • Incorporate 1/3 flour mix, after adding 1/2 buttermilk mix and repeat the process until ending with the flour mix.
  • Add now the cocoa we have already dissolved at first, add the brandy and mix it with the dought.
  • Empty the mixture into the bun and smooth the surface.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool down for 15 minutes on wire rack. Then, invert onto rack and cool completely.

Now it’s time to eat and enjoy this Chocolate and Brandy Bundt Cake! 😉

  2. Yes, everyone in my family would love this cake. I love that you added some Nutella buttercream on the top and the cake looks like it would be nice and moist.

  3. Ummm!!! Te ha quedado estupendo!! A mi padre no le gustaría porque el chocolate no le gusta, jaja!! pero no te preocupes que aquí estoy yo para tomármelo todo, todo!!!! Me encanta!!! Y ese toque de brandy tiene que quedar genial!! Besitos, guapa!
